Transition Towns
Supporting the Transitions Initiative in the Midwest

Talks

Bill & Becky Wilson

Becky and I were delighted to be a part of the first 2-day and the first 4-day trainings offered in the United States on the Transition Towns Movement. They were offered in Boulder and San Francisco in the fall of 2008.

As such, we now offer webinars, talks, keynote address and 1 & 2-day trainings on this inspiring movement.

The objective when giving either our short presentations or up to the 2-day training is to share the different aspects of the Transitions Initiative in a clear and engaging manner.

We like to leave attendees with the sense of optimism and possibilities
that this movement is all about. We can re-create our communities into wonderful places to live while caring for the planet, ourselves and others as well.

Our fees are reasonable and based on location and type of presentation. Please contact Becky for further information: Becky@MidwestPermaculture.com

About Bill & Becky Wilson

We have lived and raised four sons in a small community in rural Illinois for 30 years. Over this time we have been involved in the creation of our community center, a community garden cooperative, a tool cooperative, our Monday-night dinner cooperative and our local non-profit organization that teaches sustainable and authentic living practices.

Over the years, our community has supported the installation of solar panels to run our telephone system and a 10kw Bergey wind generator helps powere our fresh water treatment facility.

We are the co-creators of Midwest Permaculture and have slowly been implementing permaculture practices into our own home and yard.

Click on picture below for a picture summary of how we are transforming our front yard.
